Reservation policies for normal reservations 

We require a deposit of 50% of the total reservation to confirm the reservation.

• Your reservation is NOT confirmed until we receive the deposit. 

• There is no refund for arriving late or leaving an adventure early.

• The 50% balance must be paid 3 weeks before the retreat, 

• All payments are made directly on the website.

Cancellation policies for normal reservations 

• Reservations that are canceled or modified 45 or more days in advance from the date of the Check-In, receive 100% of your deposit back (minus the Administrative Charge). 

• Reservations that are canceled or modified 30 days in advance from the date of the Check-In, only receive 50% of the deposit. 

• Reservations that are canceled or modified between 0 - 30 days from the date of the Check-In lose 100% of the deposit. 

• If you do not arrive for your reservation (NO SHOW), you lose 100% of the deposit. 

• Cancellations or changes / modifications to the original reservation AFTER CHECK-IN have a penalty of one night of your reservation and no money back. 

• If altamar has to cancel the retreat for any reason on our behalf we will give you a full refund of any deposits paid.

• If the retreat is cancelled for natural reasons (Tsunami, earthquakes, storms…) or civil unrest you will receive 50% of the deposit..

• All cancellations and modifications must be sent by email to altamarcostaricawild@gmail.com

*All refunds are subject to a processing fee.

Disclaimer

• Some activities require participants to maintain a reasonable standard of health and fitness.

• Disclose any medical conditions, illnesses, allergies, and prescribed medications before booking.

•Individuals with heart conditions or who are pregnant should abstain from participating in any activities, for safety reasons.

•Individuals under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or medication that may impair their physical abilities, should not partake in activities regardless of the situation.
